• Delivery lead time is 5-7 working days on all orders.
• Price is included to mainland UK, quotations for highlands and islands available on request.
• We use a number of different hauliers and also deliver on our own vehicles.  We try to provide a tracking number for all orders but can accept customer enquiries by phone and email if you don’t receive a tracking number.
• Decorative water butt orders will be palletised curbside deliveries.  The customer being home to accept the delivery is advised but not essential.

Returns

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return:

• Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
• Your item must be in the original packaging.
• Your item needs to have a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of
payment).

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Can my water butt be attached to a wall?

Most water butts also known as water tanks are stable structures. Any water butts that, due to their particular shape, could fall down, we supply wall mounting brackets for added stability.

How do I prepare my water butt for winter?

Water butts can freeze if not drained for the winter, depending on their location and local weather conditions. If water freezes in your receptacle, the water butt may crack or deform under the pressure.

Do the water butts need added filtration devices?

All of Garden Tech’s water harvesting products are already equipped with a filtration device. Collected rainwater should only be used for gardening purposes and should not require any extra filtration.

How do the downpipe filters work?

When collecting rainwater, a downpipe will collect water from the roof via a drainpipe connected to your water butt. The downpipe filter works by combining a steel or plastic grid with the walls of the downpipe, to allow heavier bodies to fall through the centre of the pipe.

Can multiple water tanks be joined together?

Our range of water butts can be easily joined together if needed. This can be done with a simple connection kit that contains a small hose, a drill bit, and the fittings needed to connect the water butts together.

Shouldn’t the tap be at the bottom of the water butts?

No. This clever design feature ensures that the water butt always contains enough water to maintain its stability and avoid it getting blown over by the wind.
