I recently purchased the GARANTIA ECO Master compost bin 450 litres and the GARANTIA soil fence for composters 300L-450L. I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed. Decent size composter. Easy to assemble and fast delivery. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a reasonable priced composter.

Thanks GardenTech for making it a smooth process from ordering to receiving the goods.

  2. Val

Very nice water butt at a sensible price. It’s the perfect size for me, not too big to be really obtrusive but bigger than the small slimline one it’s replacing. I love that you can plant up the top and make it look a bit less like a water butt, I’m looking forward to choosing my plants! I’m actually considering buying several smaller pots to put in the top rather than planting it up fully just so it’s a bit less heavy to lift out the top when I need to – haven’t yet made up my mind.

The dark grey colour fits my garden scheme well (Brazilian slate) so it sits on my patio and blends in instead of standing out like the green monstrosity I used to have. I’ve actually drilled another hole through the side to fit the hose of an electric pump through. It means then I will be able to water with ease and not carry watering cans constantly. Because I wanted to do this it was important that the top of the butt was easily removable to allow the pump to be disconnected and stored out of water over the winter.

Basically this water butt fulfils everything I was looking for and actually was one of the only ones I could find on the internet that fit my criteria. Would highly recommend!

  3. Christina Farrow

Bought this to collect rainwater from my new garden shed. I think being able to plant the top is a great idea. It looks contemporary – I think I might have to paint the shed to match! Easy to install. I chased delivery as I had an email saying order was complete. Garden Tech answered the phone quickly and as it was already scheduled for that day sorted it straight away. Needed a VAT receipt too and that came by return. Excellent customer service as well as a lovely looking butt. Thanks.

  4. Kerry Walker

Great product! I thought all water butts were ugly, turns out they don’t have to be. Lovely colour, quick delivery and lovely delivery driver that took it to my back garden.

Smart, easy to install and small footprint.

  8. Graeme Fall

The Garantia VASO 2In1 Tank is really nice looking in the garden and has a really large capacity. Ive not planted it up yet bit there is loads of space for soil in the top so the plants will be healthy, its not just an after thought. Ordered online and the team called about 5 days later to arrange delivery. Very easy transaction.

  9. M Salmon

Exactly what I wanted. Plain, unobtrusive, small footprint and largish capacity.

    • Garden Tech

Thank you Margaret. They really do look great don’t they (if we do say so ourselves!) Enjoy your VASO 2In1 Water Butt.

  10. RASbury

A stylish product which arrived quickly following a telephone call from the delivery company arranging a suitable delivery date (the next day! Big thumbs up!) Easy to install. The planter is provided with a circle of material to prevent soil discharging into the butt through the raised draining holes. I’m not sure this is adequate so I’ve cut a larger circle of Terram which will encase all of the soil and will be used in conjunction with what has been provided. Very happy with the purchase so far, bring on the rain!!

    • Garden Tech

      Thank you for the review!

  11. Elaine Cunningham

Friendly helpful driver. Love this Garantia VASO2in I Tank. The tank was well wrapped and arrived in good condition. Has plenty of storage for my rainwater, and looks very smart with a plant in the top. I have a 6’6″ wide x 22″ long garden. so have to grow plants up walls and fences. This tank fits in nicely leaving plenty of space at ground level for summer flowers.

  12. Walter Smith

The Garantia VASO 2In1 Tank is a brilliant addition to my garden. Its huge capacity, combined with the AquaQuick tap, makes water conservation a breeze. Even for a senior gardener like me, it’s user-friendly and environmentally responsible. Highly recommended for fellow green thumbs!

Can my water butt be attached to a wall?

Most water butts also known as water tanks are stable structures. Any water butts that, due to their particular shape, could fall down, we supply wall mounting brackets for added stability.

How do I prepare my water butt for winter?

Water butts can freeze if not drained for the winter, depending on their location and local weather conditions. If water freezes in your receptacle, the water butt may crack or deform under the pressure.

Do the water butts need added filtration devices?

All of Garden Tech’s water harvesting products are already equipped with a filtration device. Collected rainwater should only be used for gardening purposes and should not require any extra filtration.

How do the downpipe filters work?

When collecting rainwater, a downpipe will collect water from the roof via a drainpipe connected to your water butt. The downpipe filter works by combining a steel or plastic grid with the walls of the downpipe, to allow heavier bodies to fall through the centre of the pipe.

Can multiple water tanks be joined together?

Our range of water butts can be easily joined together if needed. This can be done with a simple connection kit that contains a small hose, a drill bit, and the fittings needed to connect the water butts together.

Shouldn’t the tap be at the bottom of the water butts?

No. This clever design feature ensures that the water butt always contains enough water to maintain its stability and avoid it getting blown over by the wind.
